Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic

20 young adults up to 26 years with at least completed secondary education without demonstrable work experience

The project is a response to the current situation on the labor market in Europe. The current crisis raises high unemployment rate among young people in the EU.

Young people in the labor market compared to the higher age groups are disadvantaged in particular the lack of practical knowledge and skills resulting from the lack of previous work experience. Unemployed graduate can at best face disappointment and feelings of inferiority, in the worst case faces the syndrome of passivity.

For this reason it is necessary to work with these young people and improve their work skills. Department of Social Security of the Czech Republic is trying to resolve the situation. However, it is limited by the staff capacity and the absence of a comprehensive program aimed at unemployed young people in the Hradec Králové.

The project also responds to the lack of sharing of experience in the professional development of young people with other EU countries and countries that are to join the EU before entering it.

The project developed and tested the methodology, comprehensive training and support young unemployed people to find work. The methodology consisted in collaboration with project partners and collaborating organizations that transmit their experience and know how to resolve the situation of the target group of unemployed young people.
